Happy birthday, Maska!
The 200th issue of the performing arts magazine Maska is here. We have decided to celebrate this special year by publishing three 200th issues in an attempt to slow down time, which is always outpacing us, even in these strange times when it seems to stand still due to the pandemic. This year is also a special year for the magazine because it is exactly 100 years since its first issue, published by a sub-committee of the Theatre Actors’ Association of the Kingdom of SHS. Although it ceased publication shortly afterwards, it was revived in 1985 by the Union of Cultural Organisations under the name Masks (its original name was then restored in 1991), and has been published continuously for 35 years since then.
