Future 14b: A Community in the Making
The futures of cities and urban communities are often decided on using top-down logistics. Although they talk about inclusiveness and participation, they do not actually allow us to influence the conditions in which we live as individuals and as part of a community. So what would it take for us to truly participate in shaping a shared future? And what role can performative social interventions and the staging of alternatives play in this?

At the gathering we will exchange proposals and ideas for a better, shared future (through words and performance bits) while trying to create a framework for a social movement or an intersection of movements that aim to experiment with guerrilla futuring at a local level. Visitors will have the opportunity to propose your own ideas and scenarios, which we will improvise and experience together.
The event is a continuation of the interdisciplinary platform Future 14b – an experiment in the joint critical thinking of capitalist realism, alternative possible futures, and their testing and performance. With this event, the interdisciplinary platform Future 14b aims to refresh these ideas and approaches together with the interested public and to contribute to the creation of a community of practice. We hope to take the first steps in this direction together with you.
