A discussion accompanying the release of the new issue of Maska magazine will be dedicated to the theme of cripping performance. It will explore ways of thinking about the body, language, and performativity that respond to diverse needs, with an emphasis on accessibility and care.

Cripping Performance II is the second issue of Maska devoted to accessibility, as the co-editors followed the concept of crip time (Kafer, 2013). In this way, some contributors were given the additional time they require due to different needs related to inclusion. Maska thus commits to creating a space that fosters knowledge, practice, and experience emerging from the lived experience of disabled people.

The new issue once again brings together contributions by neurodivergent, disabled, and Deaf artists, researchers, and activists, and is thematically divided into three subfields: crip epistemology, crip technique, and crip solidarity.
