Part of the Festival of TRANSformations.

The discussion will be held in Slovene. Admission is free.

The central discussion of Festival of TRANSformations will focus on the interweaving of theory, artistic practice, and personal histories in light of the Slovenian translation of the cult work Testo Junkie by Paul B. Preciado, alongside the performances Now, Suddenly, I Was a Creature of Vice, I, David, and Sonny. Together with the authors of the works and guests Lučka Neža Peterlin, Gabrijel Lazić, and Nataša Živković, we will explore how contemporary body politics, questions of plurality, and gender are reflected in artistic creation and everyday life. The discussion will highlight the ways in which artists and activists challenge dominant social norms and how, through their work (performances, installations, and activism), they (re)define understandings of gender, identity, and bodily autonomy. The discussion will be moderated by  trans activist and researcher Linn Julian Koletnik.
