The Future is Feminist

The retraditionalisation of society is forcing us to face the loss of abortion rights; new war areas produce and enforce binary gender structures and create even more (structural) violence; fundamentalisms encroach upon the freedom of women. Generations of feminists have fought for the rights that we are losing today. It is our duty to preserve them and fight for new ones. Feminism and art can be fields of inventing unimagined ways of cohabiting and utopian ideas of the future: a different ethical and political sensitivity and openness for the other – human and non-human beings.  Either the future is feminist or there is none.
