Attention
Our new reality is an upgraded state of the contemporary world, highly equipped with information-communication technologies that undoubtedly change the way we perceive and experience the world around us, how we see, learn and think. The performing arts sector is one of the fields that belong to artistic and creative labour, which insists on the audience having a joint physical experience, although of course even these choices are influenced by the logic of the attention economy in terms of what we find attractive enough to go see, which particular event, or the different ways we watch and see any performance. The latest issue of Maska magazine examines this new situation, which has radically changed the field of performing arts in the last decade.
