Katrien Jacobs, Libi_doc. Slovenia: Mistify the body, lifty the spirit

The publication Libi_doc: Slovenija: Mistify the Body, Lift the Spirit is an addition to the book Journeys in the Performance of Sex Art, a comprehensive study and visually stimulating art book, and it represents Slovene leading contemporary artists, whose work explicitly or subtly touches on human sexuality and pornographic representation.

The artists, Jurij Krpan, Peter Mlakar, Rajko Bizjak and duo Eclipse, show their works and comment on major developments in digital media and open sexuality, explaining the power of social networks, exhibitionism and excess, also the pains of societal rejection and censorship.
