Sonja Vilč: Collective Improvisation

15 EUR

Collective Improvisation is a fascinating insight into some of the most revolutionary ideas and approaches to theatre, art, and life, developed by the pioneers of contemporary theatre improvisation, and a demonstration of how their improvisational principles open alternative possibilities of making and understanding cinema.

In the book, the author does not only breach the border between theatre and cinema, but enriches both with a social and political analysis, critically evaluating collective improvisations as a cultural phenomenon, artistic practice, aesthetic and political perspective, which challenges the established perceptions of human (co-)habitation and (co-)creation.
